Welcome
Resilient communities are formed long before disaster strikes, built on sound preparation and shared responsibility. Our kuleana to each other in Hawaiʻi demands nothing less of us. That kuleana is shared by government agencies at all levels, by non-profit VOAD organizations, and by companies and corporations through a shared understanding of our duty to the people and to the ʻĀina, but it begins with each of us, working together in our own neighborhoods.
Community Resilience Collective (CRC) is an Hawaiʻi-based organization dedicated to safeguarding our islands by empowering local self-reliance. Founded with a deep understanding of the unique challenges of disaster preparedness, mitigation, and response across the islands, CRC empowers neighbors through preparedness education, strategic project planning, and hands-on direct field support. By bridging the gap between professional emergency management and grassroots action, our goal is to ensure that our communities are ready for the challenges in our future.
