Community Resilience Collective
Preparedness – Planning – Mitigation – Response
About Community Resilience Collective
Community Resilience Collective (CRC) is an Oahu-founded nonprofit organization dedicated to building disaster resilience across Hawaii. We empower communities to effectively prepare for and respond to natural and human-caused disasters through comprehensive education, strategic planning, and hands-on community engagement. Our mission is to strengthen the capacity of Hawaii's communities to withstand, adapt to, and recover from disasters.
We accomplish our mission through multiple integrated approaches: delivering preparedness education to help communities understand disaster risks and response strategies, developing and coordinating mitigation projects in partnership with community leaders, establishing collaborative relationships with partner agencies and organizations, and deploying our dedicated field support teams to lead critical fuel reduction and debris removal events. By combining education, planning, partnerships, and direct action, we create lasting resilience that protects lives and strengthens communities.
